If Radiant Photo 2 won’t launch and you see a “Load library failed with error 126” message, this article explains how to fix it.
This error is most often caused by outdated graphics card drivers, and it’s most commonly reported on computers with an AMD graphics card. Updating the driver usually resolves it.
Solution
Update your graphics card drivers
- Find out which graphics card you have. In Windows, right-click Start, open Device Manager, and expand Display adapters.
- Download and install the latest driver from your manufacturer:
- Restart your computer after the installation finishes.
- Launch Radiant Photo 2
Change your monitor connections (multiple monitors)
If you use more than one monitor and the error persists after updating the driver:
- Shut down your computer.
- Switch the ports your monitors are plugged into.
- Start your computer and launch Radiant Photo 2 again.
