We use your phone’s or tablet’s operating system to decode image and video files. If your device can take and open them, we can too.
Be sure to keep your device's OS up to date for the best results.
What about RAW files?
Your device handles RAW decoding.
On iOS/iPadOS, most RAW files from DSLR, mirrorless, and non-mobile cameras are supported by Apple. Here is a list of the supported camera makes / models:
On Android, camera support varies based on your device's operating system version. DNG format is always a safe bet – Radiant Photo mobile app will process DNG RAW files on any device that can open or capture them. Support for other RAW formats depends on the specific device and its OS version.
To edit an unsupported RAW photo, you can convert it to the DNG format, which is a digital negative format that we do support. We recommend using the Adobe Digital Negative Converter. It’s a free app that works seamlessly. You can download it here.
