If you encounter an issue where the Radiant Manager window flashes briefly and then fails to launch on your Mac, this may be related to proxy settings interfering with the application. Follow these steps to resolve the issue:
- Click the Apple icon in the top bar menu of your Mac > System Settings > Wi-Fi > Details:
NOTE: If you're connected to the Ethernet instead (or use both Wi-FI and Ethernet), you may want to check Ethernet as well:- Click the System Settings > Network > Ethernet service, then click Details.
If your Mac doesn’t have a built-in Ethernet port and you’re using an adapter, look for a service that contains the name of the adapter manufacturer or the type of adapter. For example, the service might be named [manufacturer name] USB-C LAN, or just contain the model number of the adapter.
Open the "Details" menu for that option.
- Click the System Settings > Network > Ethernet service, then click Details.
- In the menu that opens, click Proxies. Please check if you have any settings activated there. Disable them, specifically, "Auto Proxy Configuration."
- Relaunch the application to check if the issue is resolved.
Additional Tips:
If disabling the proxy settings doesn’t resolve the issue, ensure your macOS is updated to the latest version.
Check your firewall or antivirus software to confirm that it isn’t blocking Radiant Manager.
If you’re using a VPN, try temporarily disabling it to see if it’s causing the conflict.
If the issue persists after trying these steps, please contact Radiant Imaging Labs Support for further assistance. Be sure to include details about your macOS version and any network configurations that may be unique to your setup.
