How to completely reinstall Radiant Photo on Mac?
Instructions for Windows
0. Add-ons Back-up
If you've purchased or created any Presets or LOOKs, please make sure to back them up. If you have nothing to back up, skip this part of the instructions and proceed to step 1.
You can access them on your disk and copy them to a backup location:
LOOKs are stored at the following location:
%appdata%\Radiant Imaging Labs\Radiant Photo\Looks
Presets are stored at the following location:
%appdata%\Radiant Imaging Labs\Radiant Photo\Presets
Note: %Appdata% may be hidden on your computer by default. You may want to enable hidden files and folders before following these steps.
1. Make sure Radiant Photo and Radiant Manager aren't running
Close both Radiant Photo and Radiant Manager.
If you're not able to close Radiant Photo and/or Radiant Manager, press Control+Shift+Escape on your keyboard, go to the Processes tab, select Radiant Photo / Radiant Manager, and click End Process.
2. Enable hidden files and folders
(if you've already done it before, skip this step)
3. Uninstall Radiant Photo and Radiant Manager from Control Panel

In search on the taskbar, enter Control Panel and select it from the results.

Select Programs > Programs and Features.

Right-click Radiant Photo and select Uninstall and follow the on-screen instructions.
Right-click Radiant Manager and select Uninstall and follow the on-screen instructions. -
Make sure that "C:\Program Files\Radiant Imaging Labs\Radiant Photo\Radiant Photo.exe" and "C:\Program Files\Radiant Imaging Labs\Radiant Manager\Radiant Manager.exe" are deleted.
4. Clear AppData
- Press the Windows logo key on your keyboard + R.
- Paste %APPDATA% in the box that opens and click OK.
- In the folder that opens, delete the Radiant Imaging Labs folder.
- Empty the Recycle Bin and restart your computer.
5. Install Radiant Photo back
Use the bundle installer that contains both Radiant Manager and Radiant Photo when you reinstall our software.
The bundle is available for download from our site at https://radiantimaginglabs.com/download-radman/
Download, close all running apps, install, start Radiant Manager, and activate Radiant Photo.

6. Putting your add-ons back (If you followed step 0)
If you backed up any custom or purchased Looks/Presets in Step 0, you can put them back by copying those backed-up folders to the following locations
LOOKs: %appdata%\Radiant Imaging Labs\Radiant Photo\Looks
Presets: %appdata%\Radiant Imaging Labs\Radiant Photo\Presets

1. Uninstall Radiant Photo and Radiant Manager
- Download the
Uninstall Utility for macOS. - Double-click the download to unzip it. Control-click the utility icon, then choose Open from the shortcut menu. Click Open.
- Check the boxes next to Radiant Manager, Radiant Photo, and User Data, and click Uninstall. The process will start automatically after this. Give it ~ 20 seconds to remove everything. You can wait ~20 seconds and then check the Applications folder > Radiant Imaging Labs folder to confirm that the chosen apps got deleted. If you have your computer's sound on, you'll also hear a 'whoosh' sound once the files are removed.
NOTE: If your macOS version is macOS Big Sur or below, please use the alternative uninstall utility: https://files.radiantimaginglabs.com/s/az50x0VwcSDNbSq/download
(You might have to let the application through from "System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General (Tab)".).
The uninstallation starts automatically. Give it ~20 seconds to remove everything.
2. Clearing the Application Support folder
- Go to Finder, click Go -> Go to Folder...
- Paste the following path:
~/Library/Application Support
click Go - Move the "Radiant Imaging Labs" folder to Trash.
- Empty your trash and restart your computer.
3. Install Radiant Photo back
- Please use the bundle installer that contains both Radiant Manager and Radiant Photo when you reinstall our software.
The bundle is available for download from our site at https://radiantimaginglabs.com/download-radman/
Please make sure you choose the installer according to your processor (Intell vs. M-Series macOS).
To check your processor type:- Click on the Apple logo in the macOS menu bar.
- Choose "About This Mac" from the dropdown menu.
- Mac computers with Intel processors will show an item labeled "Processor," while Mac computers with Apple silicon (M1/M2/M3/M4) will show an item labeled "Chip."
- Right next to the label, you'll find more details about the Intel processor or Apple silicon chip that's powering your Mac (e.g. M1 Pro, Intel Core i7)
- Close all running apps, run the downloaded installer, start Radiant Manager, and activate Radiant Photo.
